And the tree is up! It has become a tradition at Eluvium Brewing Co, with the help of our awesome customers, that we help Tammy and Kipper from The Morning Mix on Mix 96.5 with their Annual Christmas is for Kids Toy Drive. This year we’d like to ask for your help again granting Christmas wishes for area kids in foster care and domestic violence shelters.
Working with Departments of Social Services and various other organizations they’ve collected the Christmas wishes of almost 400 children in foster care or domestic violence shelters right here in our community. Eluvium Brewing Company has adopted thirteen children ranging from infants to teenagers through the Mix Christmas website and we’d like your help to give them a wonderful Christmas this year.
We know it might be daunting to sponsor a child and fulfill all of their wishes so here at the brewery we have we have set up an Angel Tree with each of the kids wishes or needs. You can come in and choose a child’s individual wish, two wishes, or all three off the tree and then return the gifts to the brewery and we will delivery them to the Santa Center to be delivered to the children. You can also drop off a donation and we’ll do the shopping for you. Once the wishes have been fulfilled, any extra donations will be used to purchased clothes and other necessities for the kids. When you remove a wish from the tree please bring the gift back to the brewery no later than December 6th, please not wrap, and please tape the wish tag to the gift so we can ensure it gets to the right child. The volunteers at the Santa Center will sort and wrap all of the gifts.
There is also Christmas is for Kids box in the brewery for donating toys for kids who may have been missed or did not get sponsored. Those toys include Barbies, Hot Wheels, Legos, Basketballs, Footballs, Soccer Balls, Baby Alive Dolls, Bicycles, Slime Making Kits, Shopkins, Baby Toys, Arts & Crafts Kits, Action Figures, and Board Games.
